The week before graduation we took off to Pocatello for Dan to go to 18 hours of board review lectures at the college. While Dan went to lecture (all day Monday, Tuesday, and a half day Wednesday) Levi and I went and played! We spent most of the week at our great friends the Wards house. They have two beautiful little girls, Jayda and Maggie. Levi had such a blast playing with these two! The first day we were there (of course the one day I didn't bring my camera) Levi and Jayda would walk around holding hands and having to sit next to each other at dinner and while playing.
Jayda taught Levi how to do the hula hoop, which was great fun to watch!

They would each take a turn until the hoop hit the ground and then yell that it was the others turn.

Our last night in Pocatello we brought the Wards over to our hotel to go swimming. It was great fun, but the water was very cold! The kids still had a lot of fun though! Levi is quite the dare devil, by the end of the night he was jumping off the side without Dad's help and going under the water. I think swim lessons will be a must in a few years!

Getting these two to both stand still long enough to snap a shot was nearly impossible, so this is the best I got of Levi and his little girlfriend!

Trying to learn to kick!

Jayda, Megan, and Maggie!

Levi and I spending a little pool time together (the baby didn't like the cold water)!

Levi loves to play with toy kitchens and pretend to make pancakes. He sure is lucky that Jayda and Maggie have such a nice kitchen to play in!

Wednesday evening we went down to Logan to visit some more friends. I have to say Levi has lots of little girlfriends! The Abel's also have two little girls, Allie and Mackenzie. Of course I forgot to bring the camera again and this is the only shot I got. We had a lot of fun and Levi is still talking about all the Playdoh toys that Allie has!

I did steal this shot of Mackenzie, isn't she just so cute!!

Friday morning we headed back up to Pocatello to get ready for graduation. My parents met us there and we took Levi out to the train yard to see some trains. Levi is completely fascinated by trains! He talks about them all day long and if I would let him would do nothing but watch train movies on the computer or on Dad's I-touch (he now knows how to log on to Utube and look up trains all by himself).

Pocatello has this really neat old cemetery that has a crypt and beautiful tall tress everywhere. It is also swarming with squirrels! In the past when we've come to feed them we will end up with 15-20 of them all around us and some would even walk up and take peanuts from our hands. Being so early in the year though they were being a little shy. We only had 6 or 7 come out to eat and only a couple of them would get very close. Levi had a lot of fun though!

This little guy would only eat his peanuts hanging upside down from the tree where he could keep a close watch on the peanut givers below. So fun!
We had a wonderful time on our trip and it was so fun to see so many of our friends again! My next post will be of the big day, graduation!
