Reno Zoo!

We took Levi to the Reno Zoo a few weekends ago. It's a fairly small zoo, but, serves its purpose as a great little place for little people to experience different types of animals. Levi absolutely loved the place! One of the unique things about this zoo is that it has a big fenced off area where you can go in and feed and pet a bunch of the animals!

Feeding a few small deer.

They had a white tiger, which I thought was really cool! It was always one of my favorite animals to see at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake.

I love his face!! It almost says, "stop looking at me!!"

I have never seen a white peacock before. They had lots of different kinds of birds that wander the grounds and follow you around when they see food in your hands!

Dan feeding some of the animals! When you walk in the gate, if you've got one of the ice cream cones with food in it the deer come running. A few of them even tried to jump up on Dan, and all of us got the bottom of our shirts nibbled on!

Daddy and Levi petting the deer! Levi loved this!! He would run, yelling happily at the top of his lungs from group of animals to group of animals! And the animals were all so good and calm.

This little guy decided that it was just easier to lay in the food trough rather than stand to the side.

Petting a goat!

Petting the llamas! Levi's favorite story is "Llama, llama red pajama" so he thought it was really, really cool to see a llama in real life!
