Catch up on fun from St. George

I got really behind with my blogging towards the end of our stay in St. George. Here's a bunch of random things we did and enjoyed while living in Dixie!
First up, Dan's graduation!! It's been a long, hard road but in May Dan graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In June he took and passed both of his board tests and is now a licensed pharmacist! We are so proud of him and very glad that, that part of our life is now over.

Just after graduation we celebrated Dan's 32 birthday! We had a wonderful time hiking in Red Cliffs, a yummy dinner, and a very, very (at Dan's request) chocolaty cake!

Next up, we celebrated Levi's 3rd birthday!! We had a blast!! Levi is a HUGE fan of trains right now, and he picked out a train cake that he wanted me and Grandma to make for him. He picked out the cake pan, and then the design he wanted. The design he wanted didn't have a place to put his name on it so he even told us where on the train he wanted his name. He calls it his special train cake, and to this day is still talking about it!

Grandma had saved a few toys that me and my brothers had enjoyed when we were younger. One of his favorites was the dinosaur molds. When I was younger we would use modeling clay, let them dry and paint the dinosaurs. Luckily, Levi was very content to use Play-doh.

But, Levi's favorite part about St. George was being able to swim in Grandpa's pool! Once the pool warmed up it became a nightly tradition to go swimming with Grandpa! Levi got to be quite the little swimmer. Grandpa taught him how to kick his legs and use his arms and even got him swimming on his back. Of course all this was done with floaties, but I am still very proud of how good he got!
