4th of July

For the 4th this year, we went down to Dan's Mom's house in Gardnerville with Stacy (Dan's sister) and her family. It's about and hour and twenty minutes south of Reno. We had a great bbq of carne asada and all the bbq fixins! It was very yummy! After dinner we all packed up and went up to Carson to play at the carnival and see the fireworks.

Daddy won Levi this big blow-up hammer doing the "test your strength" game! Levi has so much fun with it. His cousin Trent got a red one and they had a lot of fun hitting back and forth.

The first thing Levi did when I handed him his hammer was 'bonk' Dan on the head and then he came after me!

This is how Levi got around the carnival. He rode 'shoulders' as he says. Levi had a lot of fun at the carnival. He got to pet some horses, and his cousin Blake won him a light saber that is still a big hit at home.

This was while we were waiting for the fireworks to start. Stacy brought some snappers for the little kids to play with. At first Levi had a hard time getting them to pop, but, once he figured it out he had a lot of fun. After we were done, he went around picking up all the popped once and throwing them on the ground again!

Levi really enjoyed the fireworks, he kept yelling 'lights' really loud and excitedly! I tried getting a picture of him enjoying the show, but, he didn't want anyone not watching the fireworks!
